ASTRONOMY SPACE OLYMPIAD SYLLABUS FOR CLASS 1

By the time children reach Class 1, they are ready to explore the wonders of the universe and develop a basic understanding of the world beyond our atmosphere. The Class 1 Astronomy Space Olympiad (ASO) syllabus introduces students to simple and engaging celestial concepts that help them observe the sky, identify heavenly bodies, and think critically about the cosmos.

The syllabus covers foundational topics such as the Sun, Moon, and Stars, the difference between day and night, our home planet Earth, and an introduction to the Solar System.

Chapter 4: The Night Sky – Stars, constellations, and the difference between day and night.

Chapter 7: The International Space Station – Life and work in space.
