CONCEPT OF ENTREPRENEUR & ENTREPRENEURSHIP

An entrepreneur is a person who originates a new business, bearing most of the risks and enjoying most of the rewards. The process of setting up a business is known as entrepreneurship. The entrepreneur is commonly seen as an innovator, a source of new ideas, goods, services, and business/or procedures. Entrepreneurship refers to the concept of developing and managing a business venture; along with any of its uncertainties in order to gain profit in the corporate world. Simply put, entrepreneurship is the keenness to start a new business.

WHAT IS NATIONAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP OLYMPIAD (NEO) ?

The National Entrepreneurship Olympiad is a drive of E-Cell IIT Guwahati highlighted supporting young minds en route to starting up. Through an Olympiad across India, you stay to get comfortable with the subject of business. NEO presents an opportunity to discover concerning the business world and apply the data obtained over a wide scope of request plans.

WHAT IS IIT- GUWAHATI UDGAM ?

UDGAM is the Annual Entrepreneurship Summit of IIT Guwahati, which is held to bring together the academic community, new-age entrepreneurs, industry leaders, and investors on a common platform. It was conceptualized to develop and spread the spirit of entrepreneurship among the youth of the North-East, and India in general thus earning itself the reputation of being the largest E-Summit in the north-east.

To incite the spark of entrepreneurship, motivate and support the young brains of this generation, UDGAM 2022, IIT Guwahati proudly presents its one of a kind ideathon, “Sparkle”. We are pleased to provide the young aspiring entrepreneurs a platform to present their innovative ideas in front of industry leaders and a chance to achieve their dreams.

Individual participation from students of class 6th to class 12th are eligible for this completely online event. There will be 3 rounds-

• Round 0 : Registration
• Round 1 : Ideation deck - 9th Jan
• Final Pitching – 16 Jan
